Troubleshoot file uploads and media
An upload can fail because of the file type, file size, image dimensions, storage limit, source access, or a temporary connection problem.
Check the file
Confirm that the file type is supported for the destination content type.
Check the file size.
Check image dimensions when you upload an image or organization banner.
Rename the file with a simple name and try again.
Close the picker and select the file again.
Check storage and access
Check personal or organization Drive storage.
Confirm that you have write access to the destination library.
Confirm that a linked Drive file is still shared with the required account.
Use a file from the correct Google Drive account when the picker shows more than one account.
If the upload still fails
Try a smaller file or a common supported format. Keep the original file so that you can try again. Contact support with the file type, approximate size, destination, and error text. Do not send private content unless support asks for it through an approved channel.
