Drafts, copying, reactions, and custom emoji

Chat supports common message actions.

Drafts

Type a message and leave the conversation. The draft can remain in the composer when the conversation supports drafts.

Copy and react

Open a message action menu to copy the message or add an emoji reaction. Open reaction details to see reactions. You can remove your own reaction.

Custom emoji can be available where the conversation supports it.

  • Start a direct, group, organization, or course conversation

  • Send attachments and understand the eight-file limit

  • Block, unblock, and report users
