Troubleshoot unsaved notebook changes

Notebook changes can be local or cloud-synced. The troubleshooting steps depend on the notebook location.

Check the notebook location

1. Open the notebook actions.

2. Confirm whether the notebook is Device only or a cloud notebook.

3. For a cloud notebook, check the network connection.

4. Reopen the notebook and check the page again.

Protect your work

• Export important pages as a PDF when the export action is available.

• Keep a copy of important drawings or text before you remove or convert a notebook.

• Do not delete a notebook while you are trying to recover unsaved work.

Contact support with the notebook location, device, page number, and the time that the change disappeared.
