The Library is where you create reusable learning content for your organization.
 Each item you create is called a Set. Sets can be:

• Flashcards

• Study notes (Learn)

• Pathways that organize tasks

• Question banks for practice/tests

• Curated resource lists

Once a set is linked to a course, members see it directly inside their course view and can use it for studying or completing assignments.

Creating a Set

To create a new set:

1. Go to the Library tab.

2. Click Create Set.

3. Fill out:

   • Set Name: a clear title members will recognize (for example, “AP Calc – Derivatives Basics”).

   • Set Access: who is allowed to see this set.

   • Set Type: what kind of content you want to create.

4. Click Create.

IMPORTANT: After creating a set, you must connect it to one or more courses using Manage Set Courses so that members can see it. (See Section 4.4.)

Set Access Levels

When you create or edit a set, you’ll choose a Set Access option. This controls who can see and use the set.

The options are:

• Organization (Course Assignment)

  • Only members who are assigned to one of the courses attached to this set can see it.

  • Best for course-specific content (for example, “AP Biology Unit 3 Flashcards”).

• Organization (Hidden)

  • Only admins can see and edit the set.

  • Best for drafts or content you’re not ready to release, or for tests.

• Organization (Public Internally)

  • Anyone in your organization can see the set, regardless of course.

  • Best for general study sets that everyone might find helpful.

• Public

  • Anyone can view the set, even outside your organization.

  • Best for content you want to share widely.

Set Types

Set types define what kind of content you’re building and which actions are available inside that set.

All set types support the same core actions:

• Merge Set To: merge the current set into another set you select.

• Delete Set: permanently delete the set.

• Manage Set Courses: connect the set to specific courses or subcourses.

• Get Link: copy a direct link to the set to your clipboard.

Each set type then has its own additional buttons/tools:

• Flashcards: Add Flashcards.

• Learn: Add Note.

• Pathway: Add Task.

• Questions: Add Questions and Add Flashcards.

• Resources: Add Resources.

Managing Set Courses (Visibility in Courses)

For members to see a set inside their course:

1. Open the set from the Library.

2. Click Manage Set Courses.

3. Choose the course you want to attach.

4. (Optional) Toggle Select Subcourse and choose a specific subcourse.

5. Click Add Selected Course.

Any member assigned to those courses will now see the set in their course materials, depending on the access level you picked in earlier.

IMPORTANT: If you skip this step, members will not see the set in their courses, even if the set itself is created correctly.

Pathway Sets

A Pathway set organizes tasks into a structured sequence for a course or topic. This is useful for:

• Laying out a unit plan.

• Linking tasks directly to a course assignment flow.

Inside a Pathway set, you can:

• Use all standard tools (Merge Set To, Delete Set, Manage Set Courses, Get Link).

• Click Add Task to attach tasks to the pathway.

Once a task is added:

• It appears in the list under the pathway title.

• The pathway becomes a single place to view all related tasks for that topic or unit.

Flashcards Sets

A Flashcard set lets you quickly create term-definition style cards.

To create flashcards:

1. Open your Flashcards set.

2. Click Add Flashcards.

3. Enter each card on its own line using this format:

Examples:

Limit The value a function approaches as the input approaches a point

Derivative The instantaneous rate of change of a function

Integral The accumulation of quantities over an interval

Flashcards created in this set can then be used for practice and can also be connected to Question sets for mixed study modes.

Question Sets (Practice Question Banks)

A Questions set is used to create multiple-choice practice questions that can be reused in tasks and tests.

To create questions:

1. Open your Questions set.

2. Click Add Questions.

3. Write each question followed by its answer choices, using letters a–d.

4. On a separate line (or section), provide the answer key with one correct letter per question, in order.

You can also click Add Flashcards inside a Questions set to create matching flashcards that reinforce the same concepts.

Learn Sets (Notes)

A Learn set is designed for long-form notes, explanations, or walkthroughs.

Inside a Learn set:

• Click Add Note to create a new note.

• Type or paste your content directly into the editor.

All Learn notes support Markdown, including:

• for headings

• bold and italic

• Bullet lists and numbered lists

• Inline code and code blocks

This is the same format used by many generative AI tools, so you can copy and paste content from them directly into Learn notes, and it will preserve the formatting.

Resources Sets

A Resources set is a curated list of links, files, and references for a course or topic.

Use Resources sets to:

• Collect helpful websites, PDFs, videos, or articles.

• Keep everything members need for a unit in one place.

• Attach the Resources set to one or more courses using Manage Set Courses.

To add items:

1. Open your Resources set.

2. Click Add Resource.

3. Add the title, link, and any description or notes (Markdown supported).

4. Save.

Members see the full curated list when they open the Resources set from their course.

Markdown Support (All Set Types)

All text inputs in Library sets support Markdown:

• Set descriptions

• Questions and answer choices

• Flashcards

• Learn notes

• Resource descriptions

Using Markdown makes it easy to:

• Add headings and structure

• Highlight key terms with bold or italic

• Create clean lists and callouts

If you’re not familiar with Markdown, we recommend looking up a short Markdown guide. Because Markdown is widely used by generative AI tools, you can also generate content there and paste it directly into your sets with formatting preserved.
