Customize: Member Data & Tracking
The Customize interface controls what information you collect and how you track member progress.
Input Data (Fields users fill out when joining)
Use Input Data to define the information new members must provide when they join your organization.
Common examples include:
Name
Email
Phone number
Student ID
Graduation year
When someone joins your organization, theyâÂÂll see these fields and be required to fill them out. This ensures your member table always starts with consistent, high-quality data.

Non-Input Data (Automatic attributes)
Non-Input Data are fields that are automatically assigned to each member. Users do not fill these out themselves. Instead, you set a default value that applies to every new member, and you can later edit these values if needed.
Example use cases:
Membership Status: Default âÂÂMemberâÂÂ; change some users to âÂÂOfficer,â âÂÂAdvisor,â or âÂÂAlumniâÂÂ
Chapter or Team Name: Default to your organizationâÂÂs name for all members
Default Meeting Group: For example, âÂÂGeneral Meetingsâ for everyone, then move officers into an âÂÂOfficer Boardâ group later
To use Non-Input Data:
Enter a Non-Input Name (for example, âÂÂStatusâÂÂ).
Set a Default Value (for example, âÂÂMemberâÂÂ).
Click Create Non-Input Data.

The new field will appear as a column in your member table and can be updated for individual members at any time.
Incrementable Data (Points, strikes, and more)
Incrementable Data lets you track values that change over time. These fields are designed to be increased as members participate in your organization.

Common examples:
Points: Reward participation, event attendance, or volunteering
Service Hours: Track volunteer time across events
Strikes: Monitor conduct or missed requirements
Credits: Represent progress toward a certificate or position
Incrementable fields:
Show up as columns in the member table
Can be updated manually by organizers
Can also be tied to Tasks, so values automatically change when a member completes a task (for example, 2 points for attending a meeting)
This creates a clear, visible record of each memberâÂÂs engagement and progress.
